Tennessee’s Mercy Health Partners May Sell West Campus Facility

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Mercy Health Partners may sell its 101-bed Mercy Medical Center West campus and is currently working to determine the market value of the facility, according to a Mercy Health news release.

The move comes as a result of the health systems’ “need to balance the capital needs of continued development at Mercy West with the needs of other Mercy facilities throughout the region,” according to the release.

Knoxville-based Covenant Health has expressed interest in acquiring the facility, according to a report by the Knoxville News Sentinel.
