Providence officials said they intend to convert the four vacant buildings into multipatient outpatient facilities with primary care, speciality clinics, urgent care and other services, according to the report.
The health system did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement during its announcement March 22, but said the transition of various services will begin as soon as late summer or early fall 2018, according to the report.
Providence also reportedly applied for a certificate of need from the Washington State Department of Health to establish an outpatient surgery center at the former hospital, Union-Bulletin.com reports.
