Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke's University Health Network has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Grand View Health in Sellersville, Pa.

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Ardent Health has acquired 18 urgent care clinics from Tempe, Ariz.-based NextCare Urgent Care in New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Several hospital and health system mergers and acquisitions closed as 2024 turned into 2025. 

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health and Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System have officially merged into a nonprofit integrated system and will operate as Sanford Health.

Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare officially assumed control over  Dixon, Ill.-based Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital on Jan. 1, making it the Catholic-based, non-profit health system's 17th hospital acquisition. 

Mount Gilead, Ohio-based Morrow County Hospital officially joined Columbus, Ohio-based OhioHealth on Jan. 1.

Black River Falls, Wis.-based Krohn Clinic, a multispecialty group, and Black River Memorial Hospital on Dec. 30 merged to create Black River Health.

Evansville, Ind.-based Deaconess Health System's potential acquisition of Hopkinsville, Ky.-based Jennie Stuart Health has been delayed at least three months after a group opposing the deal filed a lawsuit to halt the transaction, the Hoptown Chronicle reported Dec. 20. 

Greensboro, N.C.-based BradenHealth has acquired Perry Community Hospital in Linden, Tenn., with plans to rebuild the facility and restore its services.

New Hampshire's review of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare's planned acquisition of Manchester, N.H.-based Catholic Medical Center has been extended.
