New York City-based NYU Langone Health has completed its merger with Patchogue, N.Y.-based Long Island Community Hospital, which will now be known as NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems has completed the sale of ShorePoint Health-Port Charlotte (Fla.) and certain assets of ShorePoint Health-Punta Gorda (Fla.) to Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth, effective March 1.

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has completed the purchase of Lehigh Acres, Fla.-based Lehigh Regional Medical Center, from Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare.

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health has signed a letter of intent to affiliate with Logansport (Ind.) Memorial Hospital, expanding its network in north central Indiana.

A consultant report filed with Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr's office by Warner Robbins, Ga.-based Houston Healthcare revealed that the system could close in one to two years without proper support, WMAZ reported Feb. 14.

Terre Haute, Ind.-based Union Health has submitted a new Certificate of Public Advantage application to acquire Terre Haute Regional Hospital, a 278-bed facility operated by Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
