Lake Health’s board of trustees made the announcement March 5, emphasizing the decision comes from a position of financial strength and there is no financial need to find a partner. Rather, trustees feel a partner could help the hospital best prepare for the long term.
Hospital leadership is working with consulting firm Kaufman Hall to evaluate its options, whether that be a partnership or a decision to remain independent, according to Crain’s Cleveland Business.
