Venture capital funding for HIT saw 37 deals worth $194 million. There were 37 M&A transactions in HIT amounting to $3.2 billion.
Health information management companies received the most venture capital funding with 20 deals worth $101 million, followed by mobile health companies with seven deals worth $39 million and social health network companies with four deals for $26 million.
