Hartford (Conn.) Healthcare has acquired Connecticut Surgical Group, a practice with more than 40 physicians and 12 locations, according to a Hartford Business report.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the integration of the two organizations went into effect Oct. 1.
The group will join Hartford Healthcare’s physician branch, Hartford Specialists, which includes a number of subspecialty groups that are employed by the hospital. With the addition of CSG, Hartford Specialists now includes 68 physicians.
