Following the voluntary closure of the program last year, several changes have been made, including the relocation of the program closer to other Department of Surgery divisions to increase collaboration among surgeons and the installation of new record management software.
The rebuilt division will be led by James Lim, MD, who had served as program director at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pa.
