The proposed merger was announced in September. Under the deal, St. Joseph’s will join West Virginia United Health System, while simultaneously affiliating with Camden-Clark.

The purchase of St. Joseph’s is valued at $100 million, which is being financed through WVUHS and the new entity created by the merger of St. Joseph’s and Camden-Clark, according to the report.

A ruling on the certificate-of-need request is expected in early December.
