Ashland Community Hospital in Oregon Seeks Partner

Ashland (Ore.) Community Hospital is considering proposals from five health systems to partner or form an alliance, according to an Ashland Daily Tidings report.

The organizations interested in a partnership with Ashland Community include Medford, Ore.-based Asante Health System, Seattle-based Providence Health & Services, San Francisco-based Catholic Healthcare West (now Dignity Health), Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare and Brentwood, Tenn.-based RegionalCare Hospital Partners.

The board plans to review the proposals and narrow the list to two before entering preliminary discussions, according to the report.
