As part of the acquisition, Ascension Texas plans to reopen LRH’s King’s Daughter Clinic in Temple, Texas, and resume patient care beginning Jan. 8.
LRH physicians, advanced practitioners and staff will also join Ascension Texas and its affiliated care sites.
“We are proud of the new partnership with physicians and staff formerly affiliated with Little River, as their continued commitment to residents of Central Texas aligns with the compassionate care we provide to our local communities. We believe this will strengthen healthcare in the region and allow these trusted physicians and medical staff to ensure continuity of care to those they serve,” Craig Cordola, president, CEO and ministry market executive of Ascension Texas and senior vice president of Ascension Health, said in a news release.
