Interim CEO of Answer Health, Khan Nedd, MD, said acquiring the two physicians’ groups would give the organization greater depth and leverage in a time when more health systems are employing physicians directly.
Dr. Nedd said approximately 300 primary care physicians and specialists have joined Answer Health since March, according to the article.
The merger would go into effect in January 2017 if agreed upon by all three parties.
