1. Steve Walker serves as CEO.

2. Debbie Horn serves as CFO.

3. The hospital has 111 beds.

4. South Hampton Community Hospital has 270 physicians on its medical staff roster.

5. In 2011, the hospital had 300 inpatient surgeries, 1,000 outpatient surgeries and 5,800 outpatient visits, according to the American Hospital Directory.

6. The hospital is part of LTHM Management in Houston.

7. South Hampton Community Hospital underwent a major turnaround in the summer of 2009 after coming out of its second bankruptcy. Ed Downs, the CEO at the time, was able to renew the hospital's revenue within one year by fixing inefficient processes and providing better patient care and customer service.

8. In 2011, the hospital recorded $109.7 million in gross charges and a net loss of $12.4 million, according to the American Hospital Directory.

9. South Hampton Community Hospital was recently purchased by University General Health System in Houston, effective Dec. 31. The hospital will be re-named and re-branded as University General Hospital-Dallas.

10. The hospital has five operating rooms, plus an endoscopy lab, where bariatric, colorectal, general, orthopedic, podiatric and urologic surgical procedures can be performed.
