The alliance, called the Health System Alliance of Arizona, represents the 65,000 employees of Phoenix-based Banner Health, San Francisco-based Dignity Health, Scottsdale-based HonorHealth and Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare in Arizona.

Jennifer Carusetta will serve as HSAA’s executive director. Ms. Carusetta has held positions in Arizona’s state government, including lead legislative liaison at the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, the state’s version or Medicaid based on a managed care model, according to the report.

Peter Fine, Banner Health president and CEO, will serve as HSAA’s first chairman. Other directors of the advocacy group will include Reginald M. Ballantyne III, senior strategic advisor of Tenet Healthcare Corp., Linda Hunt, president and CEO of Dignity Health’s Arizona service area and Tom Sadvary, CEO of HonorHealth.
