The name change is intended to demonstrate the system’s evolution into a more integrated delivery system, said Franciscan Skemp Healthcare CEO Timothy Johnson, MD, in the report.
As part of the change, the health system will implement Mayo Clinic’s standards of coordinated care, patient safety and quality. All Mayo Clinic Health System sites will also share the same logo, according to the report.
