Ms. Mack allegedly stole approximately $226,000 from the hospital and a former employee, who was working at the hospital from 2009-2011 as a contracted business consultant.
According to the report, Ms. Mack “induced [the consultant] to return approximately $225,600 to Mack in the form of estimated tax payments and mistaken overpayments. None of this money was repaid to Valley View Hospital.”
Ms. Mack worked at Valley View Hospital from 2006 until earlier this year. She turned herself in earlier this week and is being held in county jail on a $100,000 bond. She is due in court on Dec. 7.
