UVM Health Network appoints 6 new board members

The four-hospital University of Vermont Health Network, based in Burlington, made six appointments to boards at its member hospitals, according to Vermont Biz.

Here are the appointments, according to the report.

  • Sandy Rousse, a certified public accountant and president and CEO of Barre-based Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, was named to the board of trustees for Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. She also serves on the finance committees for the hospital, and is involved on the board-level of two accountable care organizations: Colchester, Vt.-based OneCare Vermont and Community Health Accountable Care in Montpelier, Vt.
  • Marilyn White was named president of the Central Vermont Medical Center Auxiliary. She has a 36-year career in banking and has served on the board for Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice for several years.
  • Thomas Rency was appointed to the board for Plattsburgh, N.Y.-based Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. Mr. Rency has served as CFO for several North Country firms over the past two decades, according to the report.
  • John Dwyer Jr.,president and CEO of New England Federal Credit Union in Williston, Vt.,was added to the board of the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. He has served the credit union in several capacities since he came on board in 1987, including VP of finance and COO.
  • James Fosterwas also named to the University of Vermont Medical Center board. During his career, he was co-owner of Edlund Company, a commercial kitchen equipment manufacturer, and has served as a real estate developer and investor.
  • Kerin Stackpole was also added to the University of Vermont Medical Center board. She is a director Paul Frank + Collins, a Burlington-based law firm.
