The agreement, which would last for three years, is the result of negotiations that started on Oct. 20, 2010 and is the first negotiated contract between USC and CNA.
The agreement will not be final until it is ratified by CNA, which represents approximately 600 nurses at USC University Hospital and USC Norris Cancer Hospital.
