Under the agreement, UMass Memorial physicians will serve as medical directors for the MinuteClinic location in Northborough, Mass., and additional clinics that will open in Central Massachusetts during 2012.
UMass Memorial and MinuteClinic will also collaborate on patient education and disease management initiatives and will work to integrate their electronic medical record systems.
The agreement marks MinuteClinic’s first with a Massachusetts health system.
