The poll was conducted over the phone between March 28 and May 8 among a random sample of 1,367 adults living in the state.
Here are the top three healthcare issues ranked as top priority by Texans:
- Lowering the amount individuals pay for healthcare (61 percent)
- Reducing the number of women who die from causes related to pregnancy and childbirth (59 percent)
- Lowering the cost of prescription drugs (56 percent)
