Tennessee Hospitals Post 2010 Revenues, St. Jude Children’s Posts Highest at $589.9M

Tennessee hospitals have posted 2010 financials, including revenue and expenses, with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis clocking in the highest revenue at $589.9 million, according to a Commercial Appeal report.

Other top Memphis-area hospitals with the greatest revenues include Baptist Memorial Hospital with $476.9 million, Methodist University Hospital with $375.5 million and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with $323.1 million, according to the report. The report also suggests the hospitals are seeing fewer but much sicker patients, an indication of a still-struggling economy.
