Along with the cuts to pay and benefits, nine employees were laid off, according to the report. Hospital administration said the cuts were necessary despite a 2.5 percent cut in the hospital’s 2012 budget. Sunnyside Community Hospital is expected to experience a $5 million decrease in government funding.
