If employees accept the package, they will receive a Voluntary Workforce Adjustment compensation package and would end their employment at the hospital before the end of 2014, according to the report.
Officials pointed to “major market shifts in the healthcare industry” and “regional changes” as to why it is adjusting staffing levels at the hospital, according to a statement sent to KTVE.
In addition to offering voluntary layoffs, the hospital has also made changes to improve operating efficiency to “align its expenses with expected revenue.”
