The Alliance’s project, called “Aligning Forces for Quality,” is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and also aims to reduce variation in care and help build models for health reform, said a spokesman for the Alliance. The project includes 12 teams from six hospitals across Washington State.
The participating hospitals will focus on different aspects of patient care, including cardiac care, reducing readmissions and care experience for patients with limited English-speaking skills. The project will span an 18-month period, after which the hospitals will share their results on a local and national level.
