Poll: 24% of Americans wrongly believe ACA is partially repealed

Twenty-four percent of Americans believe the ACA has been partially repealed, although no such action has been taken, according to a Morning Consult poll released Wednesday.

Morning Consult polled 1,988 registered voters online between Oct. 19 and Oct. 23.

Additionally, another 8 percent of respondents believe the ACA had been fully repealed and 7 percent believe it had been repealed and replaced.

Since President Donald Trump took office in January, Republicans in Congress have made several highly publicized efforts to repeal and replace the ACA, but they have been unsuccessful thus far.
