Only 20% of Americans approve Graham-Cassidy, poll finds

Fifty-two percent of Americans disapprove of the Graham-Cassidy bill whereas 20 percent approve, according to a CBS News poll.

The poll, conducted between Sept. 21 and 24, also found 28 percent of respondents don't know what they think of the bill.

Among Republicans, 46 percent approve of the bill, 21 percent disapprove and 33 percent don't know. The GOP has been trying to push Graham-Cassidy to a vote before budget reconciliation rules expire Sept. 30, and 42 percent of respondents believe the legislation is moving too fast while 22 percent believe it is moving at the right pace.

The poll was conducted over the phone among a random sample of 1,202 adults.
