WMC has been in discussions with two companies to outsource its plant engineering services, which include heating and ventilation, housekeeping, laundry and patient transport. Hospital officials said it plans to reduce a total of 152 full-time equivalent positions through outsourcing, though all affected employees in those departments would be offered a job with the outsourcing company that is ultimately chosen.
