Nebraska’s Memorial Hospital Plans $7.8M Expansion

Memorial Hospital in Aurora, Neb., is on track to break ground on a $7.8 million expansion and renovation project, according to a report in The Grand Island Independent.

The project will include the addition a new emergency room, a private, long-term care wing and a new dietary department, according to the report.

This is the second phase of a long-term construction project for the hospital. The first was completed in 2008 with the opening of the $4.3 million Ken Wortman Surgery Center, according to the report.
