Along with becoming director of the institute, Pronovost was named Johns Hopkins Medicine’s senior vice president for patient safety and quality.
Johns Hopkins recently received a $10 million gift to create the Armstrong Institute, which will oversee all of the current patient safety and quality efforts at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
