The Board denied Centegra’s request for a certificate of need in December, but will rehear the proposal following an administrative law judge’s finding that there was a clerical error in the filing of an impact study in the CON application.
Janesville, Wis.-based Mercy Health System was also denied a CON application in December to build a $200 million hospital in Crystal Lake. The health system is also appealing that decision.
