Huron Consulting Group boosts healthcare practice with two new directors: 6 things to know

Gary Anthony and Shari Breuer have joined Chicago-based Huron Consulting Group as managing directors of Huron Healthcare’s value-based care and clinical documentation improvement solutions, respectively.

Huron Healthcare provides performance improvement and clinical transformation solutions for hospitals and health systems.

 

“Gary and Sheri have extensive knowledge of the challenges our clients are facing and will assist them in developing innovative solutions,” said Huron Healthcare executive vice president Gordon Mountford.

 

Here are six facts to know about both Mr. Anthony and Ms. Breuer.

 

Mr. Anthony:

1. Mr. Anthony has over 30 years of experience in improving cost, quality, and safety and efficiency across healthcare and health IT companies.

 

2. Mr. Anthony has led a range of population health engagements including clinical, business and organizational transformation initiatives.

 

3. Mr. Anthony previously served as head of enablement services for Aetna’s accountable care solutions and as a partner at KPMG.

 

Ms. Breuer:

 

1. Ms. Breuer holds over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

 

2. Ms. Breuer previously served as senior vice president of revenue cycle management at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging.

 

3. Ms. Breuer previously worked with inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics and physician groups to optimize revenue cycles, CDIs, payer networks and value-based methodologies.
