Hospital Industry Leader to Know: Joe Shutts of National Patient Account Services

Joe Shutts, COO of HCA’s National Patient Account Services is a veteran of 30 years in the healthcare industry. During his career, he has held business positions at hospitals, including CFO of a community hospital, and corporate offices. His healthcare experience includes patient and general accounting, business office policy and procedures and systems design for HCA.

Mr. Shutts graduated from the University of Louisville School of Business and a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is also an active member of the Customer Contract Center Network and the Health Enterprise Network in Louisville.
