Heart Hospital in Houston Set to Start $17M Expansion

Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Houston is about to start a $17 million expansion of its Heart and Vascular Hospital, according to a report by the Houston Business Journal.

The expansion, which will complete floors five and six of the heart hospital, will convert semi-private rooms will be converted into 72 private rooms, add a dedicated radiology unit and facilitate work-flow and patient needs.

The 595-bed Clear Lake hospital, affiliated with HCA, will begin the expansion in August and complete it in Feb. 2011.
