The hospital will replace five surgical rooms and expand them from 400 square feet each to 650 square feet each. These interventional rooms will provide space for surgeries in addition to radiology and cardiac catheterization as needed, according to the report.
The hospital plans to submit a certificate of need to the state. If approved, it will begin construction next spring.
