The two face felony charges for allegedly stealing the money from Duke in 2009. The business manager, John Cotton, is additionally charged with obtaining property by false pretenses by ordering items and services for his personal use through Duke, according to the report.
Both left Duke on Aug. 1, though the university would not disclose whether they resigned or were terminated.
