The facility will replace Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, N.Y., and Horton Campus in Middletown, N.Y. Patients are scheduled to be transferred to the new facility on Aug. 5.
The 353-bed hospital will feature private rooms, an emergency department with 50 treatment bays and Level-II trauma center, 12 operating rooms, more than 1,600 free parking spaces and a healing garden.
The hospital was previously expected to open in April but was delayed.
