Four Health Systems Receive Credit Downgrades

Four health systems have received credit downgrades in the last 30 days, according to HFA Partners.

The systems receiving the downgrades include:

•    Cape Regional Medical Center (Cape May Court House, N.J.) — From A2 to A3 (Moody’s)
•    Kuakini Health System (Honolulu, Hawaii) — From BBB- to BB+ (S&P)
•    Lakewood (Ohio) Hospital Association — From A3 to Baa2 (Moody’s)
•    Oconee Regional Medical Center (Milledgeville, Ga.) — From BB+ to BB (S&P)

Nine health systems received upgrades during the same period.
