Demand for Healthcare Workers Down Slightly in December

The demand for healthcare practitioners and technicians dropped slightly in December, down 7,600 online job postings to 522,200, according to a report by The Conference Board.

According to the analysis, a decrease in advertised vacancies for registered nurses contributed to the drop.

However, the number of advertised vacancies for healthcare practitioners and technicians outnumbered job seekers in this category 2.9 to 1, according to the report.
