Christiana Care plans to open the center in a two-story, 72,000-square-foot office building in Chadds Ford, Pa., which it bought for $5 million. COO Gary Ferguson said the location is ideal because it is convenient and accessible, being only 15 minutes from downtown Wilmington. System officials expect to have specific plans for the space by September.

Currently, Christiana Care’s only facility in Pennsylvania is a cardiology practice called Christiana Care Cardiology on the campus of Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove.
