The hospital’s net operating gain was $1.13 million for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2010, down from $1.29 million the previous year. Revenue rose 7.5 percent, but expenses also climbed; salaries and benefits jumped 12.7 percent from the previous year.
Hospital administration said recruiting and maintaining a high-quality staff remains a major priority for the facility, according to the report.
