Clarian Health to Change Name to Indiana University Health

Indianapolis-based Clarian Health Partners, which operates 16 hospitals throughout Indiana, will change its name to Indiana University Health to reflect is affiliation with the Bloomington, Ind.-based university, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

The name change will take place in early next year, according to the report.

Methodist Hospital, Indiana University Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children, all in Indianapolis, will be renamed Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, Indiana University Health University Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health, respectively.

Clarian hospitals in other cities will retain their local names with the prefix “Indiana University Health,” according to the report.
