Dr. Brosgart is a specialist in public health, with expertise in HIV/AIDS, chronic hepatitis A and B, seasonal and pandemic influenza and healthcare policy, according to the report. Prior to coming to Children’s Oakland, she held several positions at Gilead Sciences in Foster City, Calif., including vice president of clinical research and vice president of public health and policy.
Dr. Brosgart received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and completed her training in pediatrics at UCSF and in preventive medicine at the State of California and the UC Berkeley School of Public Health Joint program, according to the report.
