Question: What is the single most important thing you need to do in your role? (Ie: What do you have to be great at?)
Anthony Seminaro: I have to be agile. Each day brings new challenges and I have to be prepared to respond and lead through each challenge.
Q: If you acquired $10 million dollars with no strings attached today, how would you invest or spend it?
AS: I would do 4 things: 1) I would give to God and those in need. 2) I would invest in Real Estate. 3) I would get into venture capital investments and take some calculated risks. 4) I would spend a little.
Q: There is a lot to improve upon in healthcare. Of the many issues that hold your attention, what is the one you consider exceptionally imperative and urgent?
AS: Healthcare leaders today need skills and talents that span beyond those emphasized during formal training and higher education.
Q: What is one specific competency that you learned or sharpened in real life? Or: What one specific competency do you believe up-and-coming healthcare leaders would benefit from strengthening outside the classroom?
AS: Emotional intelligence is an important to have. It can be the key to personal and professional success.
