Peggy Sanborn: Top 2022 priorities — growth for the system in support of our 2026 Strategic Priorities in the diversified health services, expanding our home based care offerings and services; expanding/integrating behavioral health services; increasing access to care in communities we serve with special focus on areas of health inequity

Q: How do you plan to pivot strategies this year to better serve patients?

We will be seeking to integrate innovation into our work across the system to support increased demand and severe shortages in workforce.

Q: What will be the lasting legacy of COVID-19 on the healthcare system?

PS: Legacy of COVID on health care … too soon to really tell, but for sure the need to do better broad-based workforce planning, recruiting and training as well as innovating to introduce AI and other tech enhancements to enable workforce support.
