Northside Hospital-Cherokee is currently located in Canton, but the new facility will be built on more than 100 acres of its parent hospital’s land behind a shopping center, the report said.
The 84-bed hospital will also have a women’s center, a multispecialty medical office building and a cancer center. The report said the projected cost of the hospital will be $250 million, and the hospital is expected to open in March 2015.
