The association was planning to file a ballot measure asking voters to impose an additional 1 percent tax on individuals’ income over $150,000 and couples’ income over $300,000 to help pay for the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.
In announcing its decision to drop the proposal, the association said it would work with the legislature and governor “to explore solutions to the current challenges associated with funding” the program.
