The new children’s hospital, developed in partnership with the Steele Children’s Research Center, has been under construction for three years.
The new center has 116 beds, up from 87 in the University Medical Center’s pediatric wing, and each bed has a computer by the bedside for nurses’ convenience, according to the report.
