The hospital will open in two phases, beginning with the opening of the emergency department and 36 inpatient beds. The hospital plans to expand to eventually accommodate 86 beds, according to the report.
The facility is expected to employ 300 people and create a $100 million annual economic impact for San Tan Valley.
