Halifax Health Turns to Disney to Boost Patient Satisfaction

Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Halifax Health has partnered with the Disney Institute in an effort to improve patient satisfaction, according to a Daytona Beach News-Journal report.

The Disney Institute is the consulting branch of Walt Disney Co., and will conduct four-hour sessions on service, quality and safety for Halifax Health’s employees.

According to the report, the goal of these sessions is to drive a patient-centered culture at Halifax Health and improve scores on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, which is one of the factors determining hospitals’ federal payments under CMS’ value-based purchasing program.
