A new survey from Chicago-based Edelman, a public relations firm, found 54 percent of Americans could not identify a CEO when asked.
The survey is part of the 2016 Edelman Trust Barometer, the sixteenth annual study of its kind that measures the public’s trust in institutions and businesses.
Compared to other countries, citizens of the United States ranked in the middle of the spectrum. Here is data from other prominent countries.
